Thanks for the kind word on my previous posts. I'm new to this blogging thing thing and am trying to find my way around so, please be patient with me. This is a painting that had as its inspiration a line from the poem 'Thirteen Ways of Looking at a Blackbird' by Wallace 

Stevens.

This is a detail from a portrait that I executed. I think that the portrait turned out nicely but I'm wrestling with the collage and the use of images for the background.

My offering today is a painting of a figure that I executed in Krylon on paper. It was then worked with oil pastels. The size is eighteen by twenty-four. The title is 'Leda' and is from a figure drawing. the model just happened to be standing in front of a plastic swan.
