Another Photoshop Painting

Campus Cash - Photoshop Painting
Here is another painting executed in Photoshop. I did the piece for a marketing poster for the Card Office at North Georgia College. I do like to paint in Photoshop. It's getting where more and more I use it to set up a painting.
It has been a so-so day today. It seems as if I'm stuck in quicksand and whatever I do makes no difference whatever. Oh, la la la.

Photoshop Sketch

I'm posting a quick sketch I did for a packaging proposal that I painted in Photoshop. I just wanted to point out that the model for the figure is myself. Also, the four figures that are in the last post are all me. It's good to have a good cheap and hard working model. Have a good start to the week. Jacqueline, if you stop by, check the comments I left for you on the last post, I kind of messed up the link and you might not have realized they were there.

A New Work

Funeral of a Friend - charcoal and gouache sketch - 8"x10"
It's been a while since I have posted anything so, I thought I would post a sketch that I have made for a new piece today just to keep my hand in. It is a one of a series that I am working on of this theme. I've been inspired by Martha Miller's work and am planning to produce this in charcoal and um-m-m acrylic on paper. In it I'm portraying some of my fascination with rootlessness, the 'On the Road' lifestyle, and the Hobo life. Prosaically, it's the burial of one of these wanderers in a junkyard (junkyards, something else I love). The graffiti graphic is a design that I am working on that I call Compass Rose. Have a good weekend.
