This is a small painting based on a school picture. The teacher is my aunt and the year is c.1933. I'm posting it because I came art late in life. In middle age i decided to return to school for a degree. Yesterday at 5:04 PM EST. I emailed my very last final essay. At age 58 I now have a degree in fine art with a concentration in painting and printmaking. It's been a long road but I have finally finished.Brad

Wow, congrats on your new degree and accomplishments! I think it's great you went and did what you wanted to do (regardless of age). Bravo!
I'm a big fan of old photographs and often use them as a 'jumping off' idea for some of my paintings. Love the colors you used in this one!
