On a windy Tuesday here, it's a good day to send a prayer out on the wind. A pen and ink drawing of prayer flags from my sketchbook should do the trick.
I at times would like to be able to loosen up a bit more so I could work quickly, like you did here, as a means to experiment. I enjoy pen and ink because of how much you can see the artist's purity of hand come through. Since the chance for mistake is so great, it interests me to see how different artists handle the medium. I very much like the way you used it here. Did you use washes in the background, and if so, what did you use?

One.
I really like this piece a lot. How long did this take you to execute?
It was approximately twenty to thirty minutes. The dimensions are six inches by eight inches. I can work pretty quickly.
